The Latin American-inspired concept has made its return to European shores with the debut of Amazonico Monte Carlo, which marked its grand opening with a highly anticipated and lavish party attended by HSH Prince Albert II, the Prince of Monaco. Having had a fantastic experience at Amazonico Dubai, I was eager to visit the newly opened restaurant in Monaco and experience it for myself.

The Location

I was seated at the outdoor dining area. Amazónico’s elegant outdoor dining area is a true oasis, featuring lush foliage, luxurious seating, and exotic jungle textures that create a captivating atmosphere. Ideal for both seated and standing receptions, this space offers stunning views of Place du Casino. As the evening progresses, guests are treated to live performances by Latin-inspired bands, filling the air with enchanting Jazz, Bossa Nova, and Cuban rhythms.

The Menu

Blending tropical and Latin American cuisines, the menu at Amazonico Monte Carlo draws inspiration from the diverse cultures of the Amazon, as well as the unique Asian and Mediterranean communities present in the region. The offerings range from Peruvian sushi and fresh raw seafood to expertly grilled meats and fish. The chefs employ both traditional and innovative techniques, using seasonal and vibrant ingredients to deliver an authentic taste of Latin America.

The quality of food

Without a doubt, the quality of the food at Amazonico Monte Carlo is exceptional. I ordered some exquisite sushi, accompanied by the renowned Angus skirt steak, which was expertly hand-cut at the table. The overall experience was further elevated by the restaurant’s prime location, offering stunning views of the famous casino and the elegant Hotel de Paris. The combination of top-notch cuisine and this breathtaking setting made for an unforgettable dining experience that truly stands out.

Service level

The entire dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, I felt consistently well-cared-for, with every detail attended to. The service personnel were not only friendly but also incredibly thoughtful, embodying the high standards one would expect from a top-tier restaurant. Their attentiveness and professionalism ensured that every moment of the meal was enjoyable and seamlessly executed, contributing significantly to an A+ dining experience.
