The Location

Levi, located in the heart of Finnish Lapland, provides the perfect setting for this one-of-a-kind experience. The serene beauty of the Arctic wilderness, combined with the excitement of high-speed ice driving, creates a captivating contrast. When you’re not behind the wheel, you can enjoy the magic of Lapland, from northern lights to traditional Finnish saunas.

The Hotel ****

During the experience, I stayed at Hotel Levi Panorama, a 4-star hotel that provided a comfortable environment. However, the rooms themselves were very basic, offering only the essentials with little in the way of luxury or distinctive features. Given the overall price of €18K for two participants to take part in the Porsche Ice Force Experience, the accommodations felt underwhelming. For such an exclusive and high-end event, I expected a higher standard of luxury and refinement to match the premium nature of the experience. While the hotel was adequate for a standard stay, it didn’t quite meet the expectations set by the price of the package, and a more luxurious option would have better complemented the exclusivity of the event.

Dining & Drink Venues

The food throughout the **Porsche Ice Force** experience was mostly local and, overall, very nice. Traditional Lappish dishes made with fresh, regional ingredients added an authentic touch to the stay. During the training sessions, however, the food was more on the basic side—yet it perfectly suited the cold weather and the physical intensity of the activities. Hearty, warming meals were served to keep us fueled and energized for the demanding conditions on the ice. While not overly elaborate, the meals were well-suited to the rugged and thrilling nature of the experience.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the trip was absolutely amazing! As a true Porsche enthusiast, this was an unforgettable highlight for me. From the private jet journey to the professional, high-intensity driving training, every aspect of the Porsche Ice Force experience was exhilarating and beyond impressive. It’s highly recommendable for anyone passionate about cars and looking to test their limits.

The only small downside is that the experience is quite costly, and the hotel and food weren’t of the highest quality, especially considering the overall price. But I suppose the real focus here is all about the driving course, which truly delivered in every way.
