The Porsche 992 facelift, also known as the Porsche 992.2, was unveiled on May 28, 2024. This update to the eighth generation of the 911 marks a significant shift. For the first time, Porsche is offering a 911 with a hybrid drive in the 992.2 Carrera GTS. While the 992.2 Carrera retains a slightly updated version of its predecessor’s engine, the 992.2 Carrera GTS features a newly developed drivetrain with a single turbo and increased displacement.
