The Hotel

From the moment I arrived, the Fairmont Monte Carlo delivered a warm welcome in true Monaco style. I was immediately recognised as an influencer, which made the stay feel even more personal and appreciated. A chilled bottle of Taittinger Champagne awaited me in my room, setting the tone for a luxurious experience. The property is an icon in the Principality, perfectly blending resort-style comfort with an unbeatable Formula 1–side location. The lively yet sophisticated atmosphere, combined with the spectacular setting between the Mediterranean Sea and the legendary Casino, creates a unique and exciting energy that you can feel from the very first step inside.

The Location

Sitting directly on the Formula 1 circuit’s famous Fairmont Hairpin and overlooking the Mediterranean, the location is nothing short of spectacular. Guests are steps away from the Monte Carlo Casino, luxury shopping, and the harbour, yet also close to Larvotto Beach for a more relaxed coastal experience. While the hotel offers stunning sea views, it’s worth noting there is no direct access to swim in the sea — something that would make the waterfront setting even more perfect.

The décor blends neutral tones with Riviera-inspired accents, creating a bright and inviting space. Beds are supremely comfortable, bathrooms are well-appointed, and the overall feel is relaxed luxury. Watching the sunrise from the balcony, with the sea stretching endlessly before you, is an experience in itself. Just be sure to book a sea view room, as the garden rooms are less attractive in my opinion.

Dining & Drink Venues

Breakfast is served in a light-filled space with panoramic sea views, offering a varied buffet of fresh produce, pastries, and hot dishes. Dining at the hotel is a highlight, with several renowned venues under its roof. The rooftop Nikki Beach Monte Carlo transforms into a chic spot for lunch or sunset cocktails by the pool, while Nobu offers world-class Japanese-Peruvian fusion in an elegant setting. A special highlight of my stay was being invited for a complimentary dinner at Amù Monte Carlo — an evening of refined Mediterranean flavours, impeccable service, and breathtaking views over the sea. During the Grand Prix, the hotel’s terraces become some of the most sought-after hospitality spots in the Principality.

Service & Facilities

The service is polished and professional, with staff well-versed in catering to an international clientele. They handle the fast pace of Monaco with ease, ensuring guests feel cared for despite the hotel’s size. Facilities include a rooftop pool with panoramic views, a fitness centre, and the Fairmont Spa, which offers an array of treatments perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring. Public areas are kept immaculate, and the concierge team is a valuable asset for securing restaurant reservations or organising experiences in and around Monaco.

The Fairmont Monte Carlo delivers a refined yet relaxed luxury experience in the heart of Monaco, with service that feels personal and attentive. Being recognized as an influencer and receiving a bottle of Taittinger champagne, along with a complimentary dinner at Amù Monte Carlo, truly elevated my stay. The combination of exceptional dining, stunning sea views, and the vibrant atmosphere of Monte Carlo makes this a destination I would gladly return to. I might even come back to stay for the F1 weekend next year, where the energy of the circuit comes alive right outside the hotel’s doorstep.
